Step away from the noise and enter a space set apart for encounter.
Our retreats invite you to slow down, pray, and rediscover the presence of Jesus Christ.
Come rest, renew your faith, and draw closer to God.

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28

ABOUT For My Dear THEOPHILUS

For My Dear Theophilus exists to create spaces and opportunities where people can encounter the living Jesus Christ through retreats, community, and lived experiences of faith. In a world that is often fast-paced and full of noise, FMDT seeks to cultivate intentional moments where individuals can slow down, reflect, and become more attentive to God’s presence and work in their lives.

Through retreats, Bible studies, shared experiences, and meaningful gatherings, FMDT encourages people to explore Scripture, ask deeper questions, and grow in a faith that is both thoughtful and lived out in everyday life. Each offering is designed to foster genuine connection—with God and with others—creating environments where faith can be strengthened, challenged, and renewed.

Rooted in a vision of faith that is relational and transformative, FMDT believes that following Christ is not simply about knowledge, but about relationship, formation, and daily discipleship. Whether someone is seeking renewal, deeper understanding, or a supportive community, FMDT invites people to step into spaces where they can grow in authentic relationship with God and with others who are on the journey of faith.

Theophilus

[thee·of·uh·lus] noun

Lover of God.

The name Theophilus comes from the Greek words theos (God) and philos (friend or beloved), meaning “lover of God” or “friend of God.” Inspired by the opening of the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts, where Luke writes to Theophilus, the name reflects a desire to speak to anyone who longs to know God more deeply.
